A message from the chair
At the Friends of Woodlands School our charities goal is to raise money for The Woodlands school. This money maybe used for a variety of reasons ranging from sensory activities to educational resources. We raise money through school discos, school proms and other fundraising activities. Our group is a mixture of parents and staff; please come along every idea helps.

-
Run an activity/stall at an event
-
Bake for events
-
Leaflet drop
We need YOU!
The committee is always looking for new members. If you feel you have the time and skills to help please get in touch via the school contact details and they will forward to us.
Fundraising
Fundraising is one of the primary functions of the Friends of The Woodlands School group. We understand how much people are asked to donate, as we really are a nation of fundraisers and givers.
Our events can be found on the school calendar. If you wish to attend, donate or help out, it will be much appreciated.
If you want to raise funds for school, that would be amazing. Please get in touch and we will share our charity number and look how we can support you in your endeavours.
We always welcome corporate support or donations. Luckily we have benefited from the BSH Group (Bosch, Siemens) who donated all the appliances large and small for our food technology room. Team days where a business sends in employees to complete a project in school is also fantastic and we can always find new projects. If you work for a company that could offer any of this, please get in touch via the school contact details.
Currently we are raising funds for:
-
Treats for the pupils, e.g. seasonal gifts
-
Redevelop soft play at Hertford Place
-
Our outside areas, which are in much need of improvement
We usually do not put up fundraising requests for people outside of the school in the staff room (there are lots of requests from staff to each other).
